It has been 8 weeks today since I had my last steroid/epidural/shot and I have been feeling SO much better ð More good days than bad days & I am SO very thankful (Nic is too!!) I pray this relief continues and we can put this "back stuff" behind us !
Happy ❤️ day to everyone! My valentine is currently snoozing. It's almost 6, I've been up since 4 and been pretty darn productive. I've done 2 loads of laundry, finished wrapping valentines gifts and been enjoying a wonderful cup of coffee (& peanut butter chocolate heart) ðĪŠ And the best part... I'm off today ð
Quick update:
Nic & I are taking the PATH training in less than 2 weeks. (It's an intensive educational course to orient prospective adoptive/foster parents to the world of child welfare) We have waited months to take this training... 1 step closer to adding to our family ð
EVERY SINGLE DAY I question if this is the right path for us ....should we adopt (which is such a lengthy & emotional process) or follow back up with our doctors and take their recommendations on trying for a baby Meeks. I pray constantly about it and I continue to ask God for direction.
Why are we so afraid of our own desires? Knowing what you want is not the same thing as saying what you want. Jesus asks questions of desires and he wants to hear the answer. It is important that we name what we want. If we aren't willing to say it, how can he bless us with it?
Name your desire, write it down and tell someone ! There is a lot of power when you say it out loud. It's a beautiful desire !
And remember ... if you want the blessings, then you gotta have the mess too!
Everyday, put your best foot forward. Be grateful for everything you have because it honors the people that don't have that and/or have lost it.
"Father, thank You for Your goodness and helping me get to where I am. Thank You for being the God of second touches. I open myself to all You have for my future. I declare that I haven’t seen anything yet because You will amaze me with Your goodness."
