Christmas is a VERY long holiday but I wouldn't have it any other way..

On Christmas Eve we eat one of the BEST meals we have ALL year. We go to The Kemps (my cousins) every year for Christmas Eve and my uncle William cooks wonderful gourmet foods for us! This year we had beef tenderloin, rack of lamb, salad, spinage casserole, twice baked potatoes, etc.... DELICIOUS! (and lots of wine, beer, whiskey, etc)

Christmas morning we wake up and open "Santa Claus" gifts at my parents then around 11 or so, we head to The Derivaux's (mom's mom) for more gifts and family time. For lunch, we go to The Hadens (dads parents) ---eat, open gifts, etc....

About 2:00 Nic and I leave and head to Morton. We spend a few hours at his parents exchanging gifts, THEN... go to his grandparents (The Parkers) for dinner and more gifts!

Needless to say...its a long day but its nice to see all of our families and stuff our faces with good southern foods!
