MORE WITH THE MEEKS: Dinner with friends

Two of Nic's best friends (Joel & Lee) recently got married and for over a year now, we've been saying we wanted to have them over to celebrate their engagement/marriage, so... we finally did! I absolutely love their wives (Courtney & Austin). We spent nearly 5 hours catching up and planning shopping trips, while the guys sat by the fire, drinking whiskey and talking football. I'm soo glad we finally got together and look forward to seeing them again!

Sweet Nic prepared all the food while I cleaned and ran errands. We feasted on shrimp cocktail and artichoke green onion dip for appetizers, beef tenderloin w/ demi glace, grilled asparagus, roasted garlic mashed potatoes and chocolate chip bread pudding for desert. Needless to say, we all ate well and I believe his friends were quite impressed with his cooking skills...as I always am. Good job Nic!
