So my poor mom got suckered into planning an 11 yr old birthday party for Mattie. She and I tried convincing her to have a tea party or something girlie and fun but she refused and said she wanted a party @ El Sombrero (if you didn't know...that is the cool thing to do at their age... get dropped off at El Sombrero w/ your friends). Although this was probably the easiest birthday party we'll ever plan, it stressed us out a bit because having that many 10-11 yr olds IN THE MIDDLE of a restaurant could get out of hand. Needless to say, it didn't and ALL of the girls she invited came, except 2... They all seem like they had a great time and the noise obviously didn't distract anyone=) Just listening to the gossip between 10-11 yr olds kept the adults entertained as well=)
After eating, we had 3 car loads take them to the St Aloysius football game. Successful party!
