MORE WITH THE MEEKS: Blessings

This past week has been wonderful in so many ways. I got to spend a relaxing week with my wonderful husband in Austin, got to "bar hop" with one of my best friends that I rarely get to see (in Austin), baby Olivia made her arrival Friday afternoon (healthy, 6 lbs 3 oz) and my best friend's father-in-law pulled through a majory surgery this morning. GOD IS GOOD!
Austin was a blast....we tried out lots of wonderful restaurants, did a little Christmas shopping and introduced Nic to 6th street=) I came home with a horrible sinus infection/head cold so I haven't been able to hold baby Olivia just yet BUT.... knowing that she's here and both Anna & Olivia are doing great is good enough for me...AND...Olivia is BEAUTIFUL. I believe she's going to look JUST like her momma!

We checked out another brewery one afternoon....

I mixed two beers- Cider Berry Brew mixed with Pale Ale-I LOVED IT!

I usually dont "experiement" with beers but this was REALLY tasty!

Highlight of Nic's trip...he imformed me that he used to get a new pair of boots every year for Christmas...wow.... things have changed. Who needs a collection of boots?!
