Slowly making progress...

Two weeks of rain IS NOT good when you're impatiently building a house. I don't care to be on site everyday (like Nic) but...I do like to see progress being made (light at the end of the tunnel!!!) I met Nic at the house last night and finally got some decent pictures.
Of course we would have crazy roof lines/roof pitches or whatever so its taking twice as long to frame this house! On a brighter note.....the longer the framers are on site, the more changes I get to make=) I've now added a "secret room" upstairs off the bedroom! Don't know what secret stuff I'll store in it but I've always wanted a secret bookshelf/hide-a-door=)
NIc walking through doing his inspection!!
This is a view of the kitchen and keeping room on the far end.
I'm having Nic measure so I'll know just how long of a table I can get=)
Table will go between kitchen and keeping room
Another view- Nic standing in kitchen
View of master bedroom
 Master bedroom
Master bath- still have lots of bracing boards all over the place
 Nic standing in master closet
Shower full of water!

Laundry room
(doors on each end, opening to hallway of master bedroom and hallway to 2 guest rooms)

Partial view of formal living room and balcony- lots of bracing boards!
Nic's Library/office (bookshelves to line the walls-he will be dusting!!)
 Opening for stairs
I'm extremely excited about the stairs going up....I've had to climb a straight ladder the last few times I've been to the house. A straight ladder while wearing sandals & a sun dress with 8 little Hispanics watching.....NOT FUN!
 Stairs have been cut!
Backview of master bedroom window, covered patio and keeping room on far right
  Side view
We have made some major progress this week but have a LONGGG ways to go! Have to decide on brick tonight- I LIKE TOO MANY!
