Bourbon

Good Morning! Such a lovely rainy day outside.....HORRIBLE day for traveling! I'm heading to New Orleans this afternoon for a couple of nights (work related). VERY thankful my meetings fall 2 days AFTER the "wild chaos " (Football games!) Good victory, Bama!

We are staying off Jackson Square @ Bourbon Orleans. Ideally this is the PERFECT location but unfortunately I wont finish with meetings until dark Wednesday and I don't care to roam streets of New Orleans solo! Thursday we finish at 12 but boss man already said, he wants to "book it" home so...it appears I wont get to do any shopping while I'm there. What a waste!

 

All of our meetings are in the ball room/meeting room at Bourbon, no driving in Nola-yay!

This is another "Southern Construction Group" captive meeting. Such a fun group of people. There are 22 companies now in this group - SEVERAL are from Louisiana (aka...FUN FUN people). This is the same group I played with in the Caymans last year-so I know who "the fun ones" are and those are the ones I sit by at dinner=)

 We are having dinner tomorrow @ Muriel's on Jackson Square. I've never been here and have heard GREAT things about this place. Pretty excited!!

Hope everyone has a great Tuesday. Be careful on these wet roads...I passed SEVERAL wrecks coming to work this morning.
