After seeing our brick sit on the lot for THREE weeks now (and listening to my angry husband after firing off SEVERAL ugly emails).....brick is finally going up. Yes, Hurricane Issac is bringing nasty weather our way and yes we have had 2 beautiful days (Monday & Tuesday) this week that you would THINK they would have already started bricking BUT....I'm just happy to see it going up!
I'm sure the weather will run them out of there by mid-day (hope not) but there are enough amigos out there and those guys are "gettin' it" so I'm hopeful to see at least 1/2 the house bricked by the end of the day?!
Also, I'm happy on the brick choice. It sure looked different when it was stacked on the lot and Nic says it'll lighten up even more after the mortar dries.
