Lagniappe

Sitting in a hotel room tonight (Olive Branch, MS) trying to do everything I possibly can EXCEPT walk downstairs to the fitness room and "play" on the treadmil. I've watched out my window while all the crazies across the street parked a mile away to go to Chic fil a ....and I.... sat in my bed EATING... half healthy=) I dined on (MY FAVORITE SALAD EVER)  a Savannah Chopped Salad from McAlister's along with a big chocolate chip cookie! Can't resists those cookies! (or Subways OR Sweet Peppers...chocolate is my weakness!)

Since I'm so cozy in this bed with the ac cranked up, I figured I'd blog for the SECOND time this week=))

Yesterday I worked the Delta (conveniently) and my best friends mom had an art showing in Greenville. Win, win!

I finished working around 3:30, ran by Fratisi's for pre-party beverages (only to find out Emily already had beer charged to her dad and waiting for me to pick up) and off to Emily's to check out her new pad! Soooo cute and sooooo Emily! Delta paintings and art all over the place and Peter's and McCarty GALORE! To live in a 3 bedroom by herself, the girl could certainly never downsize with all that stuff! I didn't realize how much I missed Emily (or the Delta) until our fun-filled afternoon together yesterday. I used to spend EVERY weekend in the Delta during my freshman and sophomore year of college. LOTS of fun memories and lots of embarrassing ones too!! But....I wouldn't trade it for anything-definitely a FUN place, to say the least=)

 So the art show was from 5-7:30 and can you believe I walked around for those entire 2.5 hours and talked?! ha. I met lots of wonderful people and Emily's mother (the famous artist!!) introduced me as her "other daughter"! I loved it!
