Life Rules...

We've all heard it (the golden rule!!) a 1,000 times... "Treat others the way you would want to be treated" yet so many people don't live by this.

“Never lose sight of the fact that the most important yardstick of your success will be how you treat other people - your family, friends, and coworkers, and even strangers you meet along the way.” - Barbara Bush

Well said, Barbara!...I LOVE THIS QUOTE.

How true is this? You can tell SOO much about a person just watching the way they treat their families, friends and complete strangers. Wouldn't you rather be known for your politeness and generosity than for absolutely anything else?

Love this...had to share!

I'm so bothered with people who are continually ugly/rude to others for no apparent reason. Seriously...nobody was raised to be that way and I just don't understand it. Being blunt/honest is one thing but being blatantly RUDE is another. And rude comes in all forms...(rough in manners or behavior; unmannerly; uncouth.) So...being tacky & asking things that aren't your business (asking brands, how much things cost, etc) classify as RUDE. Why would you ask those questions anyways? Are you wanting to copy/buy one too?

"There is a magnet in your heart that will attract true friends. That magnet is unselfishness, thinking of others first. When you learn to live for others, they will live for you. " I hope my magnet is huge because I only want to surround myself with people that would do the same for me!

Actions, even the smallest ones, send messages that speak much louder and last far longer than words do. Make sure that your actions are speaking what you feel!!!

Lets challenge ourselves to do more for OTHERS, give compliments (making someone else happy should do the same for us) and think BEFORE we speak!!

One more..Surround yourself with like-minded people.

“A man should choose a friend who is better than himself. There are plenty of acquaintances in the world; but very few real friends”

And for the record...no one has personally done anything to me, I just felt the need to blog about ridiculous people today=)

Happy Hump Day everyone!!
