Mark 11:24

Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

After Nic and I transferred our last 2 embryos this past March, we had the 10 day wait period until doing bloodwork to find out if the procedure was successful (if we were pregnant). We did the blood work on day 10 and our HCG was 38 (we had been told that anything over 50 was a healthy # and/or healthy pregnancy) My stomach dropped when I heard 38. 38 was NOT over 50 but according to our Fertility doctor and his nurse, 38 IS PREGNANT. We were reassured that many successful pregnancies started with low HCG numbers. We had a follow up apt 2 days later and the number needed to double, IT DID!!! We were pregnant. This was the first time (and our last 2 embryos) so you can imagine the excitement.

During the 10 day wait (and the 2 day wait after doing our first blood test), Mark 11:24 was our verse. After our 6.5 week ultra sound, I was so excited & bought Baby Meeks his/her first bible. I highlighted Mark 11:24 in the bible and gave it to Nic.

After acupuncture yesterday, I decided it was time for some Mark 11:24.

I asked, I believed AND guys...…….. I received! Cycle day 1 is TODAY! I called the doctor first thing this morning and we go in tomorrow morning for bloodwork and an ultrasound. If all looks good, we start stim meds Friday! (only 5 days late but who's counting?! 😜)

Mom and I ended the day yesterday with dinner in bed and a movie (if you haven't seen Wine Country, rent it!!) We celebrated our day with sparkling water/wine, a beautiful flower arrangement that some sweet friends sent and a fancy Whole Foods salmon dinner.

When you make a point to continually count your blessings, it can sure turn your whole life around. There is always, always something to be thankful for.

We are pushing moms travels back until next Monday to allow her 3 more nights with me. Thankful is an understatement.

We took a new walking route this morning and did a mountain trail. 68 degrees, sun shine and AMAZING views.
